Easy Street customer service is open from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday, and Saturdays from 8am to 3pm.

Is it safe to bank over the Internet?

Using Internet Banking is a very safe method of carrying out your day to day banking. 

To protect your information and transactions, we encrypt all messages travelling between your computer and our computer systems using the latest 128-bit digital encryption certificate. This means that all data is "scrambled" using a secret key which can only be deciphered by our Internet Banking system. An additional security feature is that the system will log you out if it is inactive for 10 minutes.

Is my money safe with Easy Street?

Total deposits up to $250,000 per account-holder with Community First Credit Union, including accounts held under Easy street, are protected by the Financial Claims Scheme. The Financial Claims Scheme ensures that depositors with credit unions, banks, and building societies will be guaranteed repayment of their funds in the extremely unlikely event that any banking institution fails. The Scheme includes a guarantee of $250,000 per person per institution. In addition, Easy Street is  a division of  Community First Credit Union, Sydney's largest community based credit union. How do I update my personal or account details on Easy Street?

The most secure way to update your personal details on Easy Street is via internet banking. In internet banking, you can update your address, phone numer and email by clicking on 'Other' followed by 'Client Maintenance' from the top menu. To update your regular savings plan, you'll need to complete a new form for an automatic regular savings plan. View our online forms here.

Why do I need to become a Member of Easy Street?

Easy Street is a division of Community First Credit Union. As a mutual, we are owned by our Members and exist only for the benefit of our Members. This means that our profits are used to give back to Members in the form of competitive rates, less fees, and superior levels of service. When you become a Member, you pay $2 for your Member share. This share entitles you to one vote as a shareholder, provided you are at least 18 years of age, at the Community First Credit Union Annual General Meeting (AGM). Attendance is optional.
