We are aware of scam callers claiming to be from the Cyber Crimes Department. The caller may claim they have detected fraudulent transactions and to download a remote access app on their phone. If you receive a call of this nature, hang up. Do not download any apps, provide any access codes or one-time passcodes. You should report the scam to us and Scam Watch immediately. After considering the recent change to the RBA’s recent cash rate, among other variables, we have made the decision to increase our variable home loans by 0.25%p.a, and selected savings interest rates by up to 0.25%p.a.

Shift away from product codes

We’ve recently began to shift away from using product codes to reference your accounts. For example, L22, S11, etc. Instead, we’ll simply reference your actual account number across banking services and communications.

The legacy of using product codes also created confusion for members at times. As these are often shown at the end of your member number, they can be mistaken for account numbers. It also aligns to industry practice.

Rest assured, nothing about your account has changed. Easy Street members will notice that these codes no longer appear in statements. The mobile app and internet banking will also progressively be updated in early 2026.

If you have any questions about this update, please reach out to a member of our team.
