  • We've scrapped the monthly fee on our Easy Everyday Account

    We’ve scrapped the $5 monthly fee on our Easy Street Everyday Access Account, effective 1 January 2020. That’s right, we’re putting money back in your pocket, with zero monthly account keeping fees on your Easy Street Everyday Access Account.

    No strings attached

    There's no minimum monthly deposit, no minimum spend and no need to open other accounts. In fact, you don’t need to do anything at all to enjoy everyday banking with no monthly fees. It’s just plain simple value from us to you.

From early 2020, the Australian Government will be 'guaranteeing' a limited number of loans which will give home buyers the ability to borrow up to 95% of the property value without having to pay lenders mortgage insurance.* These loans are only available through a limited number of lenders.

  • Planned system upgrade from 9pm Saturday 23 November 2019

    Due to a planned system upgrade, the following services were unavailable from 9pm Saturday 23 November to approximately 11.30am Sunday 24 November 2019:

    Internet banking
    Telephone banking
    Card transactions, including ATM transactions


    Mobile banking was restored around 3pm. Outgoing Osko payments via Internet Banking are currently not processing however we are continuing to investigate this and hope to have it resolved today. 

    Our contact centre will open again as usual on Monday 25 November at 9am.

  • Interest Rate Changes

    Variable home loan rates

    Effective 6 November 2019, Easy Street will be reducing all existing variable home loans by 0.15%p.a.

    For existing variable loans, interest rates will reduce on 6 November, and be effective for repayments from 27 November 2019.

     

    Fixed home loan rates

    Effective 6 November 2019, Easy Street will also be reducing Fixed Home Loan interest rates for new loans and internal switches by up to 0.36%p.a.

    Forgotten your card PIN?

    Now you can change your card PIN even if you don’t know your current one with our latest mobile banking app update. You’ll no longer need to order a new card to get a new PIN which means you can get back to everyday living faster.

    Plus, this feature helps keep your money safe – if you were ever suspicious someone may know your card PIN, you can simply change it via the app.

    On 1 April 2019, we’re leaving the rediATM scheme. This decision means you may be charged a direct charge fee when withdrawing cash from a rediATM after this date. We’ve had a long-term link to the rediATM scheme to enable us to provide our members with access to a national network of ATMs free of direct charge fees.

  • Effective from 1 January 2019, NAB will Leave the rediATM Scheme

    03 January 2019

    Up until now, members have been able to access rediATMs and NAB branded ATMs direct charge free as NAB were a part of the rediATM network.

    NAB, together with ANZ, CBA and Westpac, abolished direct charge fees in 2017, which means that members can now access more than 7,000 ATMs Australia-wide direct charge free.

    The good news for members is that they won’t be affected because they will continue to not be charged a direct charge fee when they use a NAB ATM.
